Hey there! It’s Sam here from Live To Create. Firstly, Zac and I hope you’ve had a fantastic August & September! It’s been a wild Winter here at the Live HQ, filming content creation productions left right and center (which has kept us hot on our toes). But we are so glad to be entering Spring!
Secondly, thank you so much for tuning in again for our newsletter! Throughout this edition, we have a run down of our past two months of productions and our exciting future plans - so be sure to read on.
We have some exciting news to share this month!!
We are so excited to announce that at the end of October, we hop on a plane and jet off to Rockhampton, the Beef Capital of Australia to work alongside Explore Rockhampton! We know Rocky is notorious for their beef cattle, iconic bull statues, rodeos and professional bull riding, but a glimpse of our itinerary shows we are in for a real treat. Rocky has changed and we can’t wait to embrace it!
The locals will tell you that if your fishing cast is big enough, you could catch a barra from your hotel balcony. Others will say it's the early morning fresh air, garden picnics, afternoon hikes with spectacular sunset finales, the silence of historic caves, epic mountain biking trails, sunset helicopter adventures, or that moment before your drink is poured as you tantalise your taste buds in a chic micro-brewery.
With a rich gold rush history and Australia’s longest strip of heritage-listed buildings, Rockhampton stylish and historic Riverside Precinct is home to the brand new Rockhampton Museum of Art, the largest gallery in regional Queensland, and the magnificent Fitzroy River (Tunuba), the cultural heart of the city that beats to the sounds of the traditional custodians of the land - the Darumbal people.
So be sure to tune in to our socials, and @explorerockhampton at the end of the month to get a deep dive on our week adventure up north and some epic content creation!
Over the past week, Zac and I have been experiencing the best that Canberra has to offer. We’ve surrounded ourselves by the festivities at Floriade, performances, fire shows and light displays at the Nightfest, hiked mountains to catch the sunrises and eaten our way around the best cafes and restaurants in the city.
It has been our pleasure to work alongside Visit Canberra. We have and will be continuing to create a plethora of creative social content to share on not only our channels, but across their social platforms. So, if you’re planning on heading to Canberra, we have the perfect itinerary for you (coming soon on our Canberra Blog!)
Stay tuned for all the content creation on @visitcanberra!
Wow, September (and August) were crazy months! Here’s a recap of some of the amazing business’ we’ve had the pleasure of creating and producing media 🙂
Alongside fellow (and incredibly talented) adventure creators Jack & Megan, and media publicists, Kerrie O’Brien (The Age), Maggie Zhou (Refinery29) and Maya Skidmore (Time Out), Isabella from Tourism Northern Territory guided us on an inspiring 5 day journey through Darwin and Kakadu.
Zac and I were tasked to capture and share the experience with our audiences, with over 280,000 people reached and engaged. The experiences can be viewed on our channels, or give the highlight video a watch below! ☀️
Engine Room, a new gym based in Morriset, was after a fresh set of engaging content to highlight their unique gym and recovery space on their website and social media. With an idea in mind, the Live To Create team were contracted through Good Times Media and an epic hero video for Engine Room Gym was produced. As a result of Good Times Media’s hard work, and our videography expertise and content creation, over 280 members have signed up to the gym since opening. This is what we love to hear.
There’s no doubt that the Live To Create teams loves content creation, and over the past month, we partnered alongside Virgin Active Australia to create gym highlight videos for the Wynyard and Bondi Junction gym. Our task was to capture all aspects of the gym in 20 seconds, for any new on-boarders or people interested in their local club. We highlighted different floors, classes and gym rooms to produce an engaging edit for both locations. Stay tuned on @virginactiveaustralia to check them out!
Merivale’s Ivy Pool Club wanted to showcase the VIP bottle service, table and clubbing experience. With the brief and camera in hand, a captivating, experience-driven video was created.
It is always our pleasure to capture enchanting content for Poof Doof! Over the past few months, the Live To Create team have produced multiple event hero videos and sets of reels for Poof Doof’s social media. We can’t get over the hype and atmosphere working closely alongside the team.
🚀 And that’s our October content creation update! 🚀
