Experience the Beauty of Montalto Vineyard: A Showcase of their Estate through Winery Video Content
Are you looking for a vineyard experience that truly encapsulates the beauty of nature and the taste of locally grown produce? Look no further than Montalto Vineyard, a family-owned winery located in the picturesque Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. At Live To Create, we had the honor of partnering with Montalto Vineyard to create a range of high-quality winery video content that showcases their estate and dining offerings across their social media platforms.
The Project Goals
Our goal was to create a broad range of fresh media and winery video content for Montalto Vineyard for the next year to come. Specifically, we aimed to:
Create captivating drone content to showcase their estate and offerings
Capture the essence of Montalto Vineyard
Help Montalto stand out in a crowded marketplace
On-location Experience
To achieve our goals, we spent a week on location, braving unpredictable weather to capture footage that highlighted the vineyard's locally grown fresh produce, cellar door, piazza, restaurant, picnic areas, and sculpture walk. We worked closely with Montalto Vineyard's team to understand their vision and capture footage that would showcase the beauty and uniqueness of their estate.
Our team captured amazing drone shots that added an extra special touch to the videos. We carefully edited and perfected the footage, ensuring that each video captured the essence of Montalto Vineyard and showcased its offerings in the best possible light.
The Final Deliverables
After a lot of hard work editing and perfecting the footage, we're thrilled to announce that the content is now becoming live on Montalto's social media channels. The response has been fantastic, with each reel racking up between 10k-20k+ views. It's a testament to the incredible appeal of the estate and our ability to showcase it in the best possible light. The success of the campaign is definitely positioning Montalto Vineyard as a premier destination for those seeking locally grown produce, award-winning wines, and beautiful surroundings.
We're grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Montalto Vineyard and bring their vision to life. We invite you to check out the amazing content on their social media channels and plan a visit to experience Montalto Vineyard's beauty and taste for yourself.

We've been working with Montalto Vineyard in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula to create some amazing multimedia content that showcases their award-winning wines and picturesque estate.
Our team spent a week on location, braving the unpredictable weather to capture footage that highlights the vineyard's locally grown fresh produce, cellar door, piazza, restaurant, picnic areas, and sculpture walk. We even got some amazing drone shots to add an extra special touch to the videos.
After a lot of hard work editing and perfecting the footage, we're thrilled to announce that the content is now becoming live on Montalto's social media channels. And the response has been fantastic! Cheers to Montalto Vineyard for trusting us to bring their vision to life! Keep an eye out for more amazing content on their IG coming soon!
At the end of 2022, our team had the pleasure of working alongside and exploring the beef capital of Australia, Rockhampton. Across 7 days, we immersed ourselves in a range of exciting activities including fishing, mountain bike riding, adventure caving, farm stays, and more.
We’re pleased to announce that the ‘mates trip’ hero video we created is live! (Go give it a watch below). A full case study can also be found on our website and an incredible blog article on Explore Rockhampton blog here!

We've been lucky enough to work with Luke on some amazing projects, partnering with brands like Visit Victoria, Lululemon, and Newcastle University to create stunning content that showcases his incredible talent and creativity. Sam (left) and Zac (right), capturing content for Tourism Northern Territory on a helicopter pub crawl! 📸: @jack.and.megan
Hey there! It’s Sam here from Live To Create. Firstly, Zac and I hope you’ve had a fantastic August & September! It’s been a wild Winter here at the Live HQ, filming content creation productions left right and center (which has kept us hot on our toes). But we are so glad to be entering Spring!
Secondly, thank you so much for tuning in again for our newsletter! Throughout this edition, we have a run down of our past two months of productions and our exciting future plans - so be sure to read on.
We have some exciting news to share this month!!
Explore Rockhampton
We are so excited to announce that at the end of October, we hop on a plane and jet off to Rockhampton, the Beef Capital of Australia to work alongside Explore Rockhampton! We know Rocky is notorious for their beef cattle, iconic bull statues, rodeos and professional bull riding, but a glimpse of our itinerary shows we are in for a real treat. Rocky has changed and we can’t wait to embrace it!
The locals will tell you that if your fishing cast is big enough, you could catch a barra from your hotel balcony. Others will say it's the early morning fresh air, garden picnics, afternoon hikes with spectacular sunset finales, the silence of historic caves, epic mountain biking trails, sunset helicopter adventures, or that moment before your drink is poured as you tantalise your taste buds in a chic micro-brewery.
With a rich gold rush history and Australia’s longest strip of heritage-listed buildings, Rockhampton stylish and historic Riverside Precinct is home to the brand new Rockhampton Museum of Art, the largest gallery in regional Queensland, and the magnificent Fitzroy River (Tunuba), the cultural heart of the city that beats to the sounds of the traditional custodians of the land - the Darumbal people.
So be sure to tune in to our socials, and @explorerockhampton at the end of the month to get a deep dive on our week adventure up north and some epic content creation!
Visit Canberra
Over the past week, Zac and I have been experiencing the best that Canberra has to offer. We’ve surrounded ourselves by the festivities at Floriade, performances, fire shows and light displays at the Nightfest, hiked mountains to catch the sunrises and eaten our way around the best cafes and restaurants in the city.
It has been our pleasure to work alongside Visit Canberra. We have and will be continuing to create a plethora of creative social content to share on not only our channels, but across their social platforms. So, if you’re planning on heading to Canberra, we have the perfect itinerary for you (coming soon on our Canberra Blog!)
Stay tuned for all the content creation on @visitcanberra!
Wow, September (and August) were crazy months! Here’s a recap of some of the amazing business’ we’ve had the pleasure of creating and producing media 🙂
Tourism Northern Territory
Alongside fellow (and incredibly talented) adventure creators Jack & Megan, and media publicists, Kerrie O’Brien (The Age), Maggie Zhou (Refinery29) and Maya Skidmore (Time Out), Isabella from Tourism Northern Territory guided us on an inspiring 5 day journey through Darwin and Kakadu.
Zac and I were tasked to capture and share the experience with our audiences, with over 280,000 people reached and engaged. The experiences can be viewed on our channels, or give the highlight video a watch below! ☀️
Engine Room Gym
Engine Room, a new gym based in Morriset, was after a fresh set of engaging content to highlight their unique gym and recovery space on their website and social media. With an idea in mind, the Live To Create team were contracted through Good Times Media and an epic hero video for Engine Room Gym was produced. As a result of Good Times Media’s hard work, and our videography expertise and content creation, over 280 members have signed up to the gym since opening. This is what we love to hear.
Virgin Active Australia
There’s no doubt that the Live To Create teams loves content creation, and over the past month, we partnered alongside Virgin Active Australia to create gym highlight videos for the Wynyard and Bondi Junction gym. Our task was to capture all aspects of the gym in 20 seconds, for any new on-boarders or people interested in their local club. We highlighted different floors, classes and gym rooms to produce an engaging edit for both locations. Stay tuned on @virginactiveaustralia to check them out!
Ivy Merivale
Merivale’s Ivy Pool Club wanted to showcase the VIP bottle service, table and clubbing experience. With the brief and camera in hand, a captivating, experience-driven video was created.
Poof Doof
It is always our pleasure to capture enchanting content for Poof Doof! Over the past few months, the Live To Create team have produced multiple event hero videos and sets of reels for Poof Doof’s social media. We can’t get over the hype and atmosphere working closely alongside the team.

What are Instagram Reels?
Reels are short entertaining, educational or immersive videos published on Instagram. You can express your yourself or your brand to an audience and get discovered by thousands of people who are within similar communities. People create reels on Instagram to participate in trends, collaborate with community members or create inspiring content.
So how do you create reels?
There are many ways that you can create and edit a reel for Instagram. To narrow it down, we are going to be teaching you two ways:
How to edit a reel on your phone.
How to edit a reel on your laptop.
But first, the key to creating a reel like pro is to edit and cut your clips to engaging audio. As mentioned earlier, if you haven't read our previous article on How To Find a Trending Audio, go give it a quick (3 min) read and come back here!
How To Edit A Reel On Your Phone
We love being able to whip up a quick edit on our phones. To do this, all you need is multiple phone videos, an editing app and a great audio to edit to. Here's how we do it!
Find an Instagram audio you would like to edit your reel to. Screen record it!
Open up your editing app of choice. We love using CapCut or Splice.
Import your screen recording as audio (see the below video on the left on how to do this).
Import your videos and start editing away to the audio! Make sure you cut your clips to when the audio beats are located.
Export your edit with the audio.
Go into your saved audios on Instagram, and upload your reel to that audio. The magic tip here is to put the reel volume to 1% and your own audio to 100%! This is how you can still use the trending audio but have your edits and cuts perfectly lined up to the music. (Reference the below video on the right!)
How To Edit A Reel On Your Laptop
To effectively edit to a reel on your laptop, the following steps are followed:
Find an Instagram audio you would like to edit your reel to. Be sure to save it for later when you upload. Copy the video URL and download it here.
Open up your editing suite of choice (we love using Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve - which is a free editing suite!). If you're new to using editing suites, a great tutorial can be found here.
Import your audio .mp4 file and the videos you would incorporate into your edit.
Edit away! Make sure your video cuts are to the beat to the music you have imported.
Export your edit with the audio. Airdrop or transfer the file to your phone.
Go into your saved audios on Instagram, and upload your reel to that audio. Like mentioned above, the magic tip here is to put the reel volume to 1% and your own audio to 100%! This is how you can still use the trending audio but have your edits and cuts perfectly lined up to the music. (Refer to the video above on the right to how we do this!).
By following these steps, you'll be pumping out incredible, well timed reels in no time!

Whether you are a content creator or business, there are multiple reasons why you should focus on building up your engagement on Instagram. Here's our top Instagram engagement tips to grow in 2022.
Our Top Instagram Engagement Tips To Grow In 2022
Your engagement is the metric that determines how connected you are to your audience and community; and it is pivotal to long term growth for any content creator or brand. If you're looking for ways to boost your Instagram engagement, you've come to the right place. Let us guide you on our top Instagram engagement tips to grow in 2022.
Why trust us? Our team have created a plethora of inspiring content that has been viewed over 120 Millions times; and we wouldn't have been able to do this without our engaged Australian travel community.
As always though, let's start with the basics.
What is Instagram engagement?
Instagram engagement is a rate that is measured off the total amount of people interacting with your content. It considers your follower count, likes, comments, saves, link clicks, hashtags, direct messages, story and post mentions and story sticker interactions.
How does Instagram calculate engagement?
A simple way to calculate the engagement rate for a reel or post is to sum up your total likes, comments saves and shares, divide by your follower count, and then multiply by 100 to give you a percentage.
What are the benefits of higher engagement?
Whether you are a content creator or business, there are multiple reasons why you should focus on building up your engagement.
Content Visibility
It's essential for greater visibility. The higher your engagement, the more the Instagram algorithm will prioritise your content to push it out to new audiences in your niche. This provides you with a better chance of engaging with your community and building up a reputable name for your area of expertise.
Community Building
Building up your engagement rate also means that your community and audience resonates with the content you are producing. This is an incredible way to gauge how well you are building a like-minded community around you.
Future Partnerships
If you are after creating some monetary benefit from your social accounts, having a high engagement, metrics and community surrounding you will help provide you with opportunities from brands and sponsors.
Our top Instagram Engagement Tips for 2022
There are so many sites that offer a plethora of tips for growing your engagement, but we've narrowed it down to the top 3 that we believe to be most important.
Post Reels
The number one most important tip in 2022 is that you need to be posting reels on a consistent basis! Instagram is prioritising content creators that are pushing their content out on reels.
You should be doing this at a minimum 1 time a day (and hot tip, you don't need to post on your feed!). The reels that you push out on just the reels tab will find it's way to new audiences, instead of your own following.
So if you have heaps of old footage, recycle it! Post it onto the reels and see who Instagram pushes your content to.
Interactive Stories
Now that you are postings reels on a regular basis, add some fun interactive stories in! Post questions, Q&A sessions, polls. Have some fun with your audience. This is a great way to get your following engaged with you on a day to day basis.
Engage with others in your community
It is critical to engage with others in your community, because when the time comes, if they see you enjoying and reacting to their content, they will do the same to you.
If you struggle at finding people in your particular niche, or want to expand your creative network; go find 5 new accounts in a relevant hashtag to your content. Follow them and leave two pieces of engagement (e.g. like their story, comment, like or share a post). Do this each day to new people, and the people you enjoy following and you will build up your network and engagement within your community in no time.

Finding the right trending audio can help you create a viral reel on Instagram, and it’s easier than you think. Here’s our top tips on how to find a trending audio on Instagram.
How do you find a trending audio on Instagram?
Using the correct audio for your Instagram reel can make your content go viral. But how do you find the right one? Let us guide you on how to find a trending audio on Instagram.
Why trust us? Our team have created hundreds of viral reels. They have been shared globally and viewed over 120 Million times. If you're curious, check out how we created a 35 Million hit viral video.
Let's start with the basics.
How do you search for audio on Instagram?
Luckily, Instagram has made it easy for you to find audios. You can find an audio by tapping on the audio name at the bottom right of the reel, this will take you to a page with the other top reels that have been created using that same audio. Here, you can view how many times this audio has been used, save the audio or share it.
How do I find a specific reel audio on Instagram?
To find a specific reel audio, you can search for an audio or related hashtag in the search bar, and tap on the audio tab to find the respective audios related to your search query.
But be warned, users can create their own audios and it might be a bit harder to find the audio you have stuck in your head from earlier that day. A helpful tip is to save audios that you like!
What is a trending audio?
A trending audio is when there is consistent momentum, popularity and inclusion of that audio in people's reels. But just because an audio is being heavily used doesn't necessarily mean it's trending.
How to find a trending audio on Instagram reels
Whilst on the reel explore page, you can scroll through the reels that Instagram recommends to you. Finding a trending audio is as simple as spotting the trending arrow on the right side of the audio.
How to find an audio that will make my Instagram reel go viral
Now this is the juicy part... To create a viral reel, you need to find an audio before it goes viral and be the one that makes it go viral.
What do we mean by this?
On the reel explore page, scroll until you find an audio that you like, and that suits the creative style you want to edit your video to.
Tap on the audio and check how many reels have been created to it (as described earlier).
If the audio has a low amount of reels created to it (below 5,000) save it, download it & use it!
From our experience, we know that choosing an upcoming trending audio can push you in the right direction to create a viral Instagram reel. But there are so many more factors such as your posting and engagement consistency and including a great hook.

How We Created A 35 Million Hit Viral Reel On Instagram
Anyone can create a viral reel on Instagram. You don’t need to be an influencer or be a genius video editor to do this. Here's how to create a viral reel on Instagram.
How to create a viral reel on Instagram
Let's talk about how to create a viral reel on Instagram. We've created a ton of viral videos over the last two years. Just the other week we created a viral video on Instagram that got viewed more than 35 million times… of me running over hotel beds and jumping into a pool.
Yep… 35 MILLION!? (For size reference, that is 1.5x the population of Australia)
Throughout this article we will breakdown the viral reel and share with you our top tips and tricks on how to create a viral reel on Instagram.
What is considered viral on Instagram reels?
To start with, it is important to touch on what is considered a viral reel on Instagram. Viral is very subjective to the creator and depends greatly on how many followers you have, and the reach of your reels usually get. Essentially, a viral reel is one that reaches more people than your typical audience and following.
It's all fun and games getting a few extra thousand views. But how do you get over a million views on your Instagram reels?
How do you make a reel on Instagram go viral?
By following our tips, we know for a fact anyone can create a viral video. (We’ve consulted clients, friends and have guided and created videos with a combined total of over 70 million views).
So how do you do it? We’ve broken it down into three simple steps, consistency, audio, and noticeability. The CAN formula. Below we go into more detail about each step, with a breakdown of the 35 million viral reel example.
Consistent posting
There’s no doubt you need to be posting reels, posts, stories and engaging with your following (no matter how big or small it is) on a regular basis. The algorithm won’t push your content if you’re not consistent.
The great thing about reels is that you don’t have to post them onto your feed! By doing this, Instagram will analyse your reel, and determine a new audience to push it out too.
Make sure you do this in addition to posting new and original content to your feed.
Viral Reel Breakdown: Before and during our 35 million hit reel going viral, I was posting a minimum of 1 times a day to a maximum of 3 per day of new and original content on our Bali trip. One of these reels was to my feed (new content that my followers didn’t see, I had around 6k followers), and the others to the reel page. In particular, the viral reel was not posted to my feed!
Trending audio
Stop using over-used and old songs! The reel that you create needs to have an audio behind it that is prior to the trending phase (or early on in it!) But what does this mean?
Before adding audio to your Instagram reel, find an audio on the reel discover page that has a low count of reels created to it. This is your time to make the audio trending. Refer to our latest article to learn more about how we find trending audios.
Viral Reel Breakdown: Prior to creating the 35 million viral reel, the team had found the audio used when it had around 5,000 reels created with it (prior to it trending). This had been achieved after doing quite a bit of digging on the discover page and finding something catchy!
The hook
You need to capture your audience’s attention from the start! This is achieved with a ‘hook’, or otherwise known as a catchy beginning that will grab your viewers’ attention, so they want to continue watching. A great hook will make your reel noticeable!
Viral Reel Breakdown: When I was editing the viral reel, I cut out the beginning part of me 'sleeping' and instead started when I was already moving (movement is key!) and running over the beds. I also finished it when I half landed into the pool. If we break this down, there are no points where the viewers are witnessing a moment of stillness.
There are so many more factors, tips, and tricks to aid the process of creating a viral Instagram reel. But from our own experience we know with consistency, trending audio, and a great hook, you too can create a viral reel on Instagram.
Trending Sounds for Instagram: Live To Create's Sound Scout

How To Make A Viral Reel: Tips for Creating Viral Content
How to Create A Viral Reel
There is not a set formula to creating a viral reel. We can only use our experience to carve the way. The Live To Create team have consolidated top tips and tricks and thing’s we have learned along the way. After-all, we have created over 100+ viral reels, and it’s time to share our personal experience and what has worked for us, for you.
If you’ve been struggling on getting views on your reels, you’ve come to the right place. Give these tips a go, and let us know (or send us the reel) when it goes viral.
Tips and Tricks for Making a Viral Reel
1. Start with a hook
To create a viral reel, from the get go you will need to ‘reel’ them in (pun intended). You need to capture their attention. Get them to stop scrolling. Just for a second. You need to get the viewer to break the constant dopamine cycle of mindlessly scrolling. This is increasingly getting harder nowadays with the average attention span of a human being less than goldfish.
According to recent studies, over the past few years there has been a 25% decrease in the human attention span, which is now sitting at 8 seconds, 1 second less than goldfish. Additionally, Facebook published that people spend, on average, 1.7 seconds with a piece of content on their news feed.
So, we now know that you should create a reel around the 8 second mark, but how do we engage the audience to stay after the first 1.7 seconds of content?
The top tips for doing this would be putting the most colourful, bright, high quality, engaging clip at the start of your reel. Or a fun transition, quick movement or text to keep the viewer to stay. Or get them to follow a story of yours.
There are many categories that we could give examples for, but a few being:
If your reel is about travel - put a fascinating sunrise or sunset at the start (COLOURS)
If your reel is about fashion - stand in front of the mirror and click your fingers to transition into new clothes (TRANSITION)
If your reel is about art - put the final art at the start and then show the process of how you made it (STORY)
There are so many ways to try and capture your audiences attention, and in the end, there is no set way to do this. But try and put yourself into the viewers shoes and think about what would make you want to keep on watching if you saw your reel on the newsfeed and only spent 1.7 seconds flicking over it!
This is the first step into creating a viral reel. Capture your audiences’ attention.
2. Scout a sound
Our next tip to creating a viral reel is to choose the right sound, at the right time, and edit your content to that sound.
What do we mean by that?
Firstly, scout a sound that you want to use for your reel. The way to do this is to keep an eye on upcoming or ‘trending’ sounds as this will help your chances of increasing the view count and creating a viral reel. When you are next scouting a sound, look for the ‘trending’ arrow at the bottom left of the reels page on Instagram. Find a sound that you like with that arrow.
Now, that you’ve found a sound, you need to check the views count of that sound. This will determine how mainstream the sound already is, or if it is an upcoming trend that people are jumping on. The goal here is to use a sound that is in the ‘early onboarder’ view bracket as that will increase your chances of creating a viral reel in the longer run.
100k trending - lower chance of gaining views
20k-50k upcoming - medium chance of gaining views
5k-20k early on-boarder - probable chance of IG picking up reel.
Be sure to save that sound!
Finally, you need to edit to that sound. Add your clips and edit to the sounds beat. To do this efficiently and effectively, the team here always screen-records the sound before using Capcut on our phones or airdropping that screen-record to a computer video editor (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut we use) to edit even more precisely. Be sure to select the saved sound prior to uploading to your IG feed!
3. Be Consistent
Consistency is key! The team here has put in countless hours into producing content for themselves, brands and businesses and a viral reel didn’t just come over night. We know for a fact that nowadays, people look for instant gratification, so don’t be put off by low views and engagement at the start. Keep pushing through as the algorithm will notice you.
We highly recommend building a long term vision, integrating your passions and the value you are going to provide your audience, with the patience of posting over numerous weeks or months. It’s a time consuming task to do in the short-term, but will yield long-term results.
In order to develop consistency, some key tips are:
Reminders
It’s always a great idea to put reminders into place as it’s often easy to forget about your goals and habits. If you want to get more content out in the world, put a hand written message near your front door reminding yourself to capture something today. Or set an alarm per day to sit down and spend 10-15minutes being creative.
Rewards
Kicking even a small goal deserves a reward. Rewarding allows the reinforcement of good habits and allows you to work more towards the bigger ones. If you managed to create a reel or two in the space of your 15 minutes of creativity, reward yourself with a little treat, or celebrate with some good food!
Learn from Mistakes
Even the best content creators make mistakes. So don’t beat yourself up! It is a time to reflect, learn and grow when this does occur. Note down the things you could do differently for next time. With consistency, perseverance and patience, a viral reel will come sooner than you realise!
4. Experiment
After testing out hooking techniques, scouting sounds and consistency comes the most important tip of them all. Have fun!
We love experimenting here at the Live HQ, especially when it comes to creating content for a huge range of clients. Varying the length of videos we produce, from short reels that loop, to longer reels with a story helps engage the audience. We have also experimented by creating new and unique sounds - to see if they pick up on momentum. Anything to change up the routine we will test out and integrate!
Some other ideas are:
Trending topics - find some hashtags that are trending on other social media platforms that are related to your niche and create some content surrounding them!
Play with colour - try and create distinct and eye catching, colourful (or monochrome) videos to evoke emotion, portray depth or standout from the rest of the feed.
Create your own trend - have a random idea in your head? Film it and see how it goes! Maybe pair it with a classic song.
Visuals - put some text into the video so people read it! Tell a story or voice overlay yourself speaking.
Be yourself - the most important tip. Be you. Because no one will be able to do that better than yourself.
